Winter Qualifier

Frost Forge

March 20 — Middle TN Christian School

Students compete to establish their official championship seeding. Frost Forge is the ultimate winter showdown where robots battle for more than just bragging rights — they’re fighting for position. This pre-championship event determines the official seeding for the upcoming main tournament, putting performance, durability, and driver skill to the test. Every match counts as teams clash in icy head-to-head combat, earning their place in the championship bracket and proving who’s ready to rise when they leave the forge and the real heat begins.

*Teams are not required to participate in Frost Forge to qualify for the Championship Tournament. Bracket seed positions will be determined based on results from Frost Forge; however, all registered teams will still compete in the Championship. Teams that do not attend Frost Forge will have their seeding assigned at the discretion of the tournament committee.

Championship

Kilobots Championship Tournament

May 15 — Lipscomb University

The Championship is the culmination of months of design, testing, teamwork, engineering, refinement, and perseverance. After earning their seed positions at Frost Forge, teams bring everything they’ve learned to the ultimate test on the championship stage, pushing their creations and skills to the limit in a battle to claim the title of Kilobots Season Champion.

We’re excited to partner with Lipscomb University as the new home of the Kilobots Championship Tournament. Lipscomb is committed to supporting STEM education, and we’re grateful to have a partner that shares our commitment to giving students hands-on opportunities to design, build, and compete.
